What makes you love a fashion shoot? Is it the model, the clothing, the way the clothes are styled, the photography? It could be any or all of the above, but sometimes a shoot is great for something else: sometimes it’s the mood it evokes.
This is one of those shoots. Yes Dree Hemingway looks like a modern Daisy Buchanan; yes the styling by Bay Garnett is divine, and yes Tom Craig’s photography work is far from shabby. But all those things come together to create a mood, and that mood is one that I am not sure even has a name. It’s carefree without being reckless, dreamy without being lazy; its kicking off ones shoes and running through the sprinkler even when you are wearing a designer dress.
